Origin Story
Telecommander was founded based on the emergence of semiconductors, promoting new technologies and the opportunities that they presented; our initial offerings were wireless remote cable converters. This is the origin story of a company which has evolved with technology, our name originating from the French word ‘télécommande’ translated to English meaning ‘Remote Control’.

The wireless remote control was in high demand at the time; our focus was providing product/services in relation to including installation, support, navigation and implementation of new tech devices.
1979 – 1982
Coin operated video game machines, home entertainment systems, Betamax, VHS & home video recorders.
1983 – 1987
